During my CFA I recorded my pushups the first time I did not lower my body as a single unit and had to re-record. I was just notified that I would need to record the video for a third time because my arms did not come to 90 degrees every time. Is recording this video multiple times going to hurt my application? Of course, I will keep doing it till it is right but I just wanted to know if West Point admissions will look down on this.

First off I'm not an admission officer or anything. I think it might hurt a little bit, but I doubt it keeps you from being accepted if the rest of your application is solid (Eagle Scout is looked highly upon). A tip I was told for making/breaking the 90 degree angle was don't have your face flat with the floor and have your chin up. That way you don't see the floor coming so close to your face that you think you're good (If that's not how you do already it is a bit awkward without practice). Good luck with your CFA!

No. Just do what they ask, when they ask. Look at it in a more positive light. If they didn't care about your application, they wouldn't ask. How about that?;)

Only thing going to hurt you is if you don't get the do-over completed and submitted in a timely fashion.
