I am trying to prepare for the CFT and I looked at the standards and I was wondering what the measurements for the shuttle run are.
and the shoe you wear and traction can make a world of difference! Test different shoes and surfaces. Gym floor time for our DS was much worse then concrete out side gym. Test time improved dramatically outside.*CFA. Also know that you don't have to get your entire body past the line, just touch it with one hand and foot. and when you end keep running through the line.
Is there a time limit on push ups and sit ups or is it just as many you can do?and the shoe you wear and traction can make a world of difference! Test different shoes and surfaces. Gym floor time for our DS was much worse then concrete out side gym. Test time improved dramatically outside.
There is. Download the rules, print them and be really familiar with them. Practice and train. And do some test runs in the required sequence. Have a rest day before your formal test. Hydrate, take care of yourself. Our DS increased his proteins, 2 bananas a day to reduce cramp risk and realized that he could push through a lot for the limited time it took to get it all done. Also, we postponed his one month after his first trial at 100 degrees at 5000 feet didn't go that well. He continued to train, and rescheduled for a cooler day. He rescheduled once more when the forecast was for 50 mph gusts that he would have been running into. I know you will have to run in bad weather at academies, but this test should be something you plan for strategically. Good luck!Is there a time limit on push ups and sit ups or is it just as many you can do?
