LT Elyse Bobczynski departs this week to attend medical school at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Her attendance marks the first time in the Service’s history that an actively serving member of the Coast Guard will enter this program. Once complete, she will be assigned as the first non-Public Health Service Coast Guard physician. Although temporarily needing to revert back to an Ensign to meet admission requirements, she’s excited about the amazing opportunity to blaze the trail for others to follow.

This is historic!!!

Wow. I wonder how many times she heard "I like your get-up-and-go, but your chances are just about zero", or words to that effect.
She must be outstanding in every way.

Bravo Zulu LT. Bobczynski !
