CGA application SAT concern

I was trying to find this out online, but does anyone know if there is a timeline issue with applying for early admission and taking the SAT in August? My DD took it in June, but would like to retake it in August to try and score a little better. It seemed to take awhile to get her June test scores back and if it takes awhile to get them back when she takes it in August, could that affect her application deadline? I hope this makes sense?
The website states: "Required/supplemental forms and standardized test scores will be accepted for 14 days after the deadlines above." So it would seem that, so long as the August test scores are reported to the CGA by 10/29 (14 days after the 10/15 EA application date), they are acceptable for EA. Looks like the August national SAT date is 8/28 with a projected score release date of 9/10. Even with a delay, it would seem likely your daughter's scores would be available in plenty of time for EA.

This is very helpful, thank you! You worded my concern better than I did with the concern being if the delay was past the deadline of Oct. 15th and it being out of her control. Hopefully this won't happen, but we had a delay with receiving our June score and was told the scoring took a long time due to staffing issues related to Covid. Can you possibly tell me or refer me to any sources explaining the pros/cons or differences between applying for EA vs. RA? We are very new to this process, so I'm grateful for your help! Thanks again!

That's a good point! I can't imagine even with a delay it would take that long to receive the scores. I had trouble finding that on the website about the scores needed 14 days after the deadline, so I appreciate you posting it here!
