CGAS appointment

Very strange. If the June 1st date is incorrect. And some send in paper work after May 1st. An appointment may be lost.
One would think this would be remedied quickly....DS already sent in his mail in paperwork and immunization forms. Is working on sending the email forms this weekend. I guess he'll be 5 weeks early.

What memo are you referring too?

Scholar Pay Instructions "MEMO"randum. Sorry for the confusion. I meant memorandum when I said "memo." If you read through it, it mentions majority of the forms, followed by an instruction not to sign or date. I didn't go through all the forms online yet, but it seemed like there were at least one or two additional forms online that were not mentioned on the memorandum document. I just wasn't sure if it was a deliberate omission or an oversight after the revision. Does that make sense?

If the packets aren't being sent out until next week, I'm guessing they'll change the due date to June 1. Majority of the CGAS folks who aren't on this forum have no idea about the due date yet, so how can they possibly send it back by May 1? Don't you think so? Anyway, let's wait for The official word from Objee.

Anybody who has read the CGAS 2017 handbook has read that there is a due date of May 1st.

I would wait for an official word in the form of some other media like a 'phone call or email',before deciding to disregard the instructions in the handbook....but that's me.

It would be prudent to follow the instructions in the hand book. Your are correct, at best 15% to 20% of applicants are on these forums.

Just reviewed the CGAS Handbook which (at least to me) clearly states a May 1st deadline for accession forms, so I'll check back with LT Kessell. Thanks to all who notified me of that.
LT Kessell said he'll be sending an e-mail to the CGAS group with additional information and still plans to release acceptance packages with prep school assignments by May 1st. I believe deadline was intended to be June 1st, but I'm sure he'll clear that up in the e-mail.

Got the mail today and nothing. I thought we were supposed to receive the packets this week. Did anyone get theirs?

We were getting ready to send out all the forms, and we casually looked at the CGAS website one last time because there's been changes to that page, here and there. To our surprise, we saw more changes. I don't ever remember seeing this before, but did you all see that they added that all forms need to be printed and completed in BLUE ink? Was this instruction there before? We did everything in black ink already, literally ready to mail out. Those of you who already sent in the forms, did you all use blue ink? @Objee, we understand that many legal documents require the signature to be in blue ink, but we left all the signatures and dates blank. If we used black ink to fill out the forms before this instruction was posted, do we still need to do everything over in blue, or will they be accepted in black ink?
