From the email DS received, it sounds like we should know sooner than later. The AO also made mention of a webpage that they are finishing up that will be used for CGAS admissions.
 
What application fee? You mean for GMC or MMI? Not sure if NAPS even requires one but...

Speaking of NAPS, does anyone know if they are sending females this year for sure? If so, are they only sending recruited athletes? We'd love for DD to get NAPS, but we don't know if that's even a possibility.

Yes for either prep school. I thought they said there was a one time application fee. My daughter is a recruited athlete but not sure where she is going yet. Hopefully NAPS

R u sure we are supposed to get a package? It appears everything is online. The checklist is under the handbook and it gives dates of when things r due. For instance all paper work is due by May 1.
 
Yes, there should be a package at least with the official appointment that comes in a nice hard folder(?), much like a diploma, so that your DD and DS can take pictures holding it proudly to post on social media. Lol it looks just like the direct appointment but with different words I think.

Not sure what's in the "package". Admissions mentioned in correspondence last week with DS that they would have the website updated and that they hoped to know where everyone was headed by April 15th. The website is indeed updated with a list of items with due dates.

I had a question about that. I know that the direct appointment people can request to have one of the officers come out to present the certificate at their high school, but do the CGAS kids have that opportunity too? Is it something we need to request?
 
Sooooo excited!!! My daughter was being sent to CGAS but received a phone call today for a direct appointment. She will be the class of 2021!!! [emoji173][emoji631]

Oh wow that is exciting news! Congratulations! Do you know if she was a borderline case to begin with? I remember it happened to another young man last year too, and his stats (test scores, GPA, EC) were truly impressive. He didn't sound like he was CGAS bound to begin with; glad CGA made the switch for him in time. Maybe that was the case with your DD too? Great news for you either way!
