CGAS appointment

We were getting ready to send out all the forms, and we casually looked at the CGAS website one last time because there's been changes to that page, here and there. To our surprise, we saw more changes. I don't ever remember seeing this before, but did you all see that they added that all forms need to be printed and completed in BLUE ink? Was this instruction there before? We did everything in black ink already, literally ready to mail out. Those of you who already sent in the forms, did you all use blue ink? @Objee, we understand that many legal documents require the signature to be in blue ink, but we left all the signatures and dates blank. If we used black ink to fill out the forms before this instruction was posted, do we still need to do everything over in blue, or will they be accepted in black ink?
I wouldn't sweat it. I also wouldn't hesitate to call Lt. Kessel if it's really bothering you, I have spoken to him on the phone and they have no problem answering questions.

My sons appointment letter stated Scholars had till May 12th to accept their appointment. I suspect they may be notifiing waitlisters next week.

LT Kessell said he'll be sending an e-mail to the CGAS group with additional information and still plans to release acceptance packages with prep school assignments by May 1st. I believe deadline was intended to be June 1st, but I'm sure he'll clear that up in the e-mail.
Any update on this? Waiting to hear on prep school assignment and an acceptance package.

Yes, your son is in a different boat -- no pun intended.
Noted......however what I was trying to say is those who have been accepted are waiting on info still as well. Maybe we will all be "enlightened" this week?

I'd have a bit more patience this week. It's graduation week, so there's lots of activities. Also, POTUS is the commencement speaker, so everyone at the academy will be jumping through hoops at least through Wednesday.

Of course, if the e-mails go out sooner, then everything I just wrote is irrelevant. ;)

I saw that they will have the commencement live streamed! Thanks for the info and we're rooting for DS heading to MMI! He enjoys physics as well!

I am guessing you did not get a response? Tough to know what to do -- very possible that calls have already been made to those plucked from the waitlist.
I agree as only 10 to 15% participated in this forum.
