I’m currently a rising senior.
My stats:
3.9 unweighted GPA
NHS member(planning for leadership role)
CSHS Officer(founding member of the honor society)
Leader of Cyberpatriot team(and founding member)
Leader of Computer Science(Remind app) development team for local Elementary School security and attendance
JROTC Squad Leader and NCO
JROTC Color Guard team(One of the guards)
JLAB Team

Practice PFA:

1 minute pushups: 50(max scored)
1 minute situps: 50(max scored)
1 mile: 6:30
I could go beyond 50 but it seems 50 is the max.

BRCC Scholar Program: High school student and college student, the goal is to graduate high school with an advanced diploma and Associates. Extremely rigorous and time-consuming according to both the program description and personal experience.

I have not taken the SAT, but plan to this month. Hoping for a 1300+.

Not sure if it matters, but I have over 150 hours of community service and volunteer work
I've been the leader of several community service and outreach projects.

Any advice regarding the AROTC scholarship process, improving my stats or SAT scores, and the PFA would be helpful.

@VisionofConflux - you asked the same question on 7/23 and got 2 pages of responses. Your chances are somewhere between 0 and 100%. No one can tell you what your chances are - did you read the responses that you got from your original post?

I reposted because I realized I missed a lot of stuff on my previous one. Also, a lot of people were just stating the goods and not pointing out my areas of weakness. I also don’t know how or if you can delete posts.

Don't listen to people who say things like "Your chances could be anywhere from 0-100%". While this is true, young students seeking scholarships often only want rough estimates, not passive-aggressive remarks. I was in the exact same place as you last year, so I know how annoying it is. Based on the information provided I'd say there's a 95% chance you could secure a 3-Year scholarship. Unless, of course, you've committed a serious crime or have a serious medical issue. I would also say that you also have a solid shot at the 4- year scholarship. Dont let anyone tell you otherwise. Good luck.

Thank you for understanding and I appreciate the motivation.

I think the advice you got in your previous post remains the same. Look to the advice of the people who have the most experience, such as Montana - not having sports is going to hold you back. But it also really depends on the applicant pool which can change from year to year. Apply - no one knows if you will get a scholarship but it is certain you won’t get one if you don’t apply.

Is there any way I can make up for my lack in sports? Also, does JROTC CG/HG or JLAB count under the sports category?

Unless you have some club/intramural sports going on atm, you'll probably not be able to "make up" the sports category.

I believe that the lack of sports was addressed in your other post. Many applicants have been preparing for this since Freshman year of high school, so a sudden interest in sports senior year probably won’t make much of a difference. I would work on the areas where you can improve at this point - like your SAT.

I just saw a post that CG counts(kinda weird). Also, can I also prove my physical ability through the PFA by maxing our?

I don’t plan on doing sports my final year of high school because they already cancelled them. However, in college I will try to get on a team because I went through a pretty significant physical transformation with the goal of meeting and exceeding the physical demands, so idk. Hence why I’m asking everyone here if I could show my physical capability elsewhere than school and club sports. I’m not sure if JROTC and some of its activities would count I heard they could, but I’m not sure.

50% for a 3AD
10% for a 4year
Especially since no actual SAT score.
4 year winners have 1400+ SAT, 3.7+ GPAs, are Eagle Scouts, class presidents, multi-sport team captains and have 1/2 dozen varsity letters. There are 1000s of applicants like this.

Athlete
Leader

to cover the gap, have a great interview that tells a unique story about you. If the board reads an interview that is compelling and explains away your sports you might get a boost.
Also, don’t stop at the max for the PFA- go until you physically cant do anymore.

Will do. I tried for class President but lost the vote by 3. I hope to become an officer for NHS and the president for CSHS this year. Is there anything I can look at to get a glimpse/idea of what the interview will be like?
