Im also a 2024 applicant with similar stats and such. Sounds good on a lot of things, but BGO interview, essay, and recs matter a lot as there are very objective pluses in your stats, but your personality and fit to the academy often comes through in those more subjective aspects. Best of luck! Hope to see you on I-day!

Dude you're actually stacked. I'm kinda worried if you're my kind of competition. Don't take it as a bad thing. I took 3 years of french too. Your Ap courses are similar to mine but you excelled which is awesome. I'm in no position to state whether you'll be a good fit at the academy but you've accomplished a lot and you'll definitely end up in a good spot whether at the academy or not.

A weighted GPA of 102.304? I have never heard of such a thing. Did you get extra credit?
A weighted GPA on the 5.0 scale would be 97 (for 4.5) and 100 (for 5.0)
5.0/100 - as in never missed a point, ever, on anything from 9th through 12th grade, and every single class was AP, including gym.

And (as @Big Ugly writes above) what are your CFA stats?

Hard to chance you given your thread "Waiver denied...is it over?" Is that thread about your specific situation, or hypothetical?

My HS is weird because honors classes get a +7 added to the final class score and APs get a +10 added to the final score. So if a student finals with a 93 in an AP class, their weighted final would be 103. But my school does unweighted GPAs on a 4.0 scale.

My CFA stats aren't phenomenal. I have my CFA scheduled for the end of this month. I can max situps and do 65-70 pushups. Pullups will be the hardest for me, i can only do 5 pullups. Shuttle run is about 9 seconds. BB is 60' Run is 7:08.

Thanks to everyone who responded and for those who are candidates this year I wish you all the best of luck!

My DD’s high school does the same thing (over 100) for a weighted GPA, it’s for class rank. Then unweighted on a 4.0 scale. It’s kind of confusing and I don’t understand why they do it this way.

Your GPA by itself is meaningless. USMA takes your class rank and class profile to develop your ranking.

Okay. I guess that makes some sort of modicum of sense in our Modern World (which I write with a small grimace).
Unless the application has changed however, I don't think that the weighted GPA even comes into play. So the point may indeed be moot.

Where is that popcorn emoji? Ah, here it is! :popcorn1:

"Chance Me" threads are about as meaningless as LOA threads on this Forum. Nobody here knows what any particular Candidates chances of Admission or an LOA are. The Class Profiles published on the Admissions website provide a pretty good summary of characteristics or tickets USNA is looking for, and frankly most of that is common sense. Beyond that, it really comes down to intangibles like teacher evaluations, and most important, how you stack up against the other kids in your MOC slate.

I sense these Chance Me threads are simply thinly veiled pleas for praise and self assurance, particularly when posted by a HS junior/senior that have already set their record and have little chance to do anything to improve their application. The time to be thinking about "chance me" is as an entering Freshman, who should start thinking about what they can do to build an Academy worthy record in high school,
