Chances in any Military Branch?

I was told that I was PDQ from the Army, after trying to do the Reserves a few years ago. This was because of my vision in my right eye. I know at some point later on. I will most likely need a lens replacement surgery for cataracts.

Now that I have graduated from Texas A&M, and the Corps of Cadets, I am looking at trying again. I have been in touch with a recruiter for the Coast Guard, who says I still fall within the requirements for a possible medical waiver. What are my chances with these eye records?

Any advice/knowledge would be helpful!

I can't speak to medical specifics. What I can say is that with all branches at historic low-levels of personnel, there's never been a better time to get medical waivers approved.
