How do you know that you are academically qualified? My DS also has a nomination to USMA from NJ MOC and has a 27 ACT composite and he has no idea if he is 3Q (he passed DODMERB and CFA), in fact FF told him his scores are below average. Good Luck!
First place to look for academic qualification is on the portal home page. Look for a .pdf named "Candidate File Qualified". Some RCs mail these, some don't. Next, according to the Google which is never wrong, enlisted Soldiers can be admitted directly with a 24 in Math and are considered academic risks below that and off to Prep. I have seen where 25 in Math is an academic risk (no source to verify) and must be "waived" by admissions. If his Math and Science are over 26 and there are no super low 20-22 scores in the other categories, I would venture his ACT scores are qualified. That is not to say competitive, but qualified. I have no knowledge of the other items factored into academic qualifications such as gpa, ap classes, teacher evals, height, weight, etc.
