Chances of Recieving a waiver

I'm applying for all ROTC scholarships in addition to the service academies. I recently had a dodmerb at Andrews Air Force Base, and received some painful news. My vision is correctable to 20/20 in my right eye but only correctable to 20/25 in my left eye due to a case of amblyopia, which the doctor said I would have had to correct before the age of five. The case of amblyopia caused a slight lazy eye, a failure of the depth perception exam, and a failure of the red laser test (diplopia). The doctor told me that waivers are available for amblyopia, and said that I should continue to apply for military scholarships and academies.
My question is, do I have a good chance at receiving a waiver from any branch? At this point, I would be deeply grateful for a waiver and acceptance into any branch of service, as joining the military as an officer is my top priority and longstanding goal. Is this problem so bad that a chance of a waiver is highly unlikely, or can I be confident enough that it is possible to receive a waiver? Do some branches or military paths provide waivers more easily than others? I understand that I have a zero percent chance at receiving a waiver if I don't apply, but I would still like to have a general idea of my situation before I continue to put my heart and soul into these applications.
Any help would be supremely appreciated.

I would quickly like to add that it is specifically the distant vision that I am correctable to 20/20 in my right eye and 20/25 in my left eye. For near vision, I am correctable to 20/20 in each eye.

When my son was deemed not correctable to 20/20 in each eye, He was found Qualified for USAFA (no waiver required), but Not Qualified for USNA, so different SA's have different vision standards.

And one person might receive a waiver for some condition from a given academy, and another not receive the waiver from the same academy. A lot goes into it. However, it is possible.... so you charge ahead and control what you can and let the rest take care of itself.
