Is it as competitive as the 4 year? I will be applying to Marion Military Institute and Georgia Military College.

I'm just wondering my chances for the ECP Scholarship. I am also a Junior
    Academics: Current GPA - 4.0, Cumulative GPA - 3.77, Class Rank percentile - 30%, ACT - 26

    Physical Fitness: Pushups - 90 in 2 minutes, Situps - 70 in 2 minutes, 2 mile - 14:00

Sports - Freshmen Basketball, Varsity level club AAU Basketball, 2 1st degree black belts in Taekwondo (Captain), JV Winter and Spring Track (Varsity next year)

Leadership: Student Government Representative, Freshman Class President, Student Government Cabinet Chairman, Student Government Secretary, Current Student Government President, Boys State Delegate, History, English, Chinese Honor Society, Candidate for National Honor Society, Ambassador to International Students, Church Small Group leader, Church Activity Planner, Church Graduation Committee Vice-Coordinator

PS. I will be fine with being in the Reserves or National Guard after commissioning (even though I will compete for Active)

I was under the impression that you could not go active duty with the ECP program. I might be wrong so make sure you know the details to the program.

You won't be going Active Duty if you go the ECP route to a commission.

That is misleading/false. There are multiple officers I work with daily as an active duty officer who commissioned through JMCs and then rounded out the last two years at a civilian university while serving as NG lieutenants. They then report to BOLC and come on active duty after being assessed with the year group who graduates the same time they do.

What difference does it make regarding your chances? Will you not apply if someone here says your chances aren't good? You're really going to let some anonymous person on an internet forum determine your future? I can tell you this.. your chances are 0% if you don't apply. Quit worrying about your chances and get it done.

You're correct, I should have said that there is a lesser chance of going Active Duty through ECP then going through traditional AROTC.
