Chances of USAFA appointment

I am a senior in high school, graduating in a few months. I never thought about joining a SA until a few months ago when I got a much higher ACT and was encouraged by my football coach to follow my dream of becoming a pilot. Still much too late to apply for this year. I would like any input of the quality of my application, and the process of joining a SA after one year of college. Also, I am from Michigan if that means anything, I have read districts matter.

3.95 weighted

Rank: 15th out of about 200 (retaking SAT in March as my school only counts SAT. Right now my sat is 1250, so rank should go up.)

I am planning on attending a nearby college next year, still undecided, but most likely studying pre-med. Any input on chances, and ways to improve my application would be very helpful.
