Changing schedule during senior year?

Hello,
I am currently a senior applying to the SA's and I ran into some trouble involving my classes and overload. I'm not failing a class or anything close to it, I am just having issues with attending all my classes (Two are in the same period, that kind of thing) and fitting all of it into the hours in a day, and I'm not sure it will be sustainable second semester. I was wondering if changing your schedule midway through senior year would have a large impact on admissions, and if any of you have any advice for this sort of transition in regards to the SA applications. Thank you for your time.

It probably depends on what you leave out. If it's underwater basket weaving no one will care. If it's AP Physics than that might cause a stir. JMPO.

If you’re asked why you changed your schedule, mind your answer. Saying you booked two classes at the same time might raise eyebrows (lack of attention to detail). Saying it was all too much to handle may too (can’t manage heavy workload).

None of this may matter if you’re an otherwise stellar candidate. But if you’re borderline and/or neck-and-neck with someone else in your district, it may matter a lot.

Thank you, that definitely helps narrow down how and if I'll balance out the schedule. I'll make sure if anything is dropped, it affects my SA preparation as little as possible. I understand how that sort of schedule mix-up could look, and hopefully my reasons are sufficient to admissions. Thanks again.

Based on what I have heard from my DD, life at the academy often seems like you are taking two classes at one time.........all the time!!! Good luck!!
