(I also posted this in the USMA forum) Has anyone switched sessions for either SLE or NASS after already accepting and sending in payment? I was notified today by my Head of School that I was chosen to attend a Rotary International Leadership camp, but it conflicts with NASS, and in order for me to attend all three activities I will need to switch to the first session of both SLE and NASS. I just e-mailed the West Point contact and filled out the Contact Request form for USNA to ask if it is possible; hopefully they will get back to me soon.

That's about all you can do. The summer sessions fill up fast

My DS had a conflict with SLE last summer. He requested to USMA for a session change, and was denied.

My son was able to switch last year. As long as they have a bed, they are fairly accommodating. Once those slots are gone, fuggedaboutit.

Not being accepted to NASS isn't necessarily a bad sign. So even if you aren't accepted....I wouldn't lose sleep over it. There are plenty personal stories on here from candidates who received appointments and turned down from NASS.

I applied to the Naval Academy Summer Seminar fairly late (February 25th). I am not expecting to hear back from them for several more weeks, and I do not have high expectations of getting accepted. I am only available for session A due to Boys state and CAP programs, which limits my chances even more. What are the chances of getting accepted after applying so late in the cycle?
