Hi all,

This may not be an appropriate thread to post in this discussion, but I was wondering where the chat room went in the lobby? I remember it being there when I first joined, but now it is gone. Will that be coming back up on this site?
I thought it was kind of a cool resource for quick and concise answers. Just wondering.

There were issues with the chat that we hadn't forseen. We are looking at bringing it back once we have fixed the problems.

In addition to what Stealth mentioned, one of the other issues of the chat is that when a question is answered, only those in the chat benefit. In the forum setting, everyone can benefit from the questions of others.

Ok, good point. I was thinking more along of the lines of an instant massive chat that everyone could participate in. Probably a technical nightmare, and I guess that is essentially what the forums are. You can kind of "chat" with someone if you are online at the same time. Would it be possible to make a kind of temporary thread where you could post for a while (as just kind of a discussion) and then get rid of it when you are done? Probably a bad idea, but thanks for the info anyway.
