Choosing a school after awarded a type 2 scholarship

Four days ago I recieved an email telling me that I recieved a 4 year type 2 scholarship for AFROTC. I have not recieved anything through the mail yet. As I have been reading through threads I see that people are awarded scholarships to specific schools. My question is will the scholarship work at any school I plan to attend ROTC at? PS I plan to attend CU Boulder, WPI, or Notre Dame. Thank you for any help

Yes. With AFROTC, you can take your scholarship to any school and det you'd like. This is unlike other branches that are det/unit specific. You could find out more from the Recruiting Flight CC from each det to get your scholarship applied to that school.
 
Look at the Room and Board Sticky Note on this forum. Many schools offer subsidies such as free room and board to military scholarship recipients.
