I've been accepted to NASS session 2, but it overlaps with Boys State. Which would be more helpful? Or better yet, is there any way I could switch to session 3 so that I could attend both?

Yep, if they have space, they will accommodate your need, especially for Boys State. USNA likes both. Congrats! Have a great summer. Sounds like a lock!

you can try to switch, but don't sweat it. I turned down Girls' State for NASS last summer, 2nd session, and now have an appointment.

Try to see if you can switch, so you can attend both. If not, I would recommend NASS. You were still selected for Boys State, which is in itself an honor, so you can include that on your resume and state that you coundn't attend due to a conflict with NASS.

If you cannot change your session, then it really depends. If you have your heart set on USNA, then I would attend Boys State. I only view Summer Seminar as more important if you aren't sure about an academy or if you're trying to choose between more than one academy.

Here's is another viewpoint.
I have already visited USNA with the STEM program last year. I have been accepted to 3 SS of 3 academies. I chose to go to USAFA SS since I never visited there. Now If I do get an appointment to both, then I will probably request for a weekend visit to USNA.

I am also in the process of choosing USNA SS or Boy's State (my acceptance being unknown as of now).
