Yeah. . . I also rolled the dice a bunch of times and managed to slide through the rain and other storms on a team that had a very "non-angelic" reputation. Suffice it to say that my 1/C Team Captain was class A'd twice before 1/C year but had a good year as Captain and a Navy career capped off by retirement as a flag officer. We roomed together as Ensigns and were stationed nearby in the fleet a couple of times. Our children overlapped at USNA and although I won't divulge any things that they might have been involved in, it will suffice to say that the apples did not fall far from the trees.I was one those who rolled the dice on things a lot when it came to conduct. As Capt MJ can attest, the basketball team were ‘perfect angels’ who never got in trouble. The first rule of any of this… never lie. You get caught, fess up, do the restriction time, march your tours.
