hehehe. This makes me laugh! Don't act so scared! We're human beings too. haha.
 
I have scheduled my DODMERB appointments; they're in about a month. I've had one conversation with my ALO, and she said she'll contact me in August to set up my interview. I took the SATs and am satisfied with my scores. Right now I am working on the sports side of my application. Good luck to all prospective 2014 candidates. We're in for a long ride.
 
vampsoul; can you possibly tell me WHY your ALO said she would contact you in August for an interview? Meaning; WHY so long of a wait? It's just my opinion; but you should be trying to get your application; DODMERB; CFA; etc... completed as soon as possible. The Board starts reviewing your applications (IF THEY ARE 100% COMPLETE) in September. So, If everything can be done in August; including your ALO interview; all should be good. But it would suck to have everything done and be waiting on an interview that might get pushed back. My suggestion would be that you will PROBABLY be contacting your ALO sometime between now and then. Maybe for the CFA; make for questions; etc.... When you do; mention that the application letter from the academy mentions (Or at least it did in the past); that they recommend trying to have your application completed within 45 days or as soon as possible. I know the interview isn't part of the application, but in passing mention how you would like to be board reviewed in the first batch to help your chances of a LOA. (Of course, only you can realistically determine if an LOA is obtainable). Anyway; stay in contact often with your ALO. Don't let 2 months go by without contact. best of luck to you. Mike......
