Good luck to you! I'm pretty sure my DS's appointment is being charged to Congressman Loudermilk and not Sen Isakson but I'm not totally sure about that. I think they even start shifting where an appt gets charged right down to the end. But if you haven't gotten a TWE and you haven't heard of anyone else in your District I would think you are very much still in the game!

Sorry to reply this late but i was under the impression that Perdue and Isakson selected 10 nominees from which the Academy willpick 1 or 2. Regardless, i did recieve letters from both back in December saying i was given a nomination and the Naval Academy updated my candidate page with this info.
 
It's weird how the information we all get is so inconsistent!? We were told the same thing except it was that the Senators and Congressman coordinated and that the Senators would not double dominate but that you could get double nominated by one Sen and your Comgressman. And when my DS got his appt, the Congressman called first, then the next day the Senator called! So who knows who it's getting charged to Anyway, I guess it matters not as long as you get the appointment right? Again best of luck and hope to see you at I-Day!⚓️

You are not likely to be notified if you are considered triple qualified or not. You can probably make a reasonable guess based on your CFA performance and your academic/test score/sports/leadership background. And of course you will know if you are medically qualified or not.

There are many people who are triple qualified, just as there are many students applying for civilian schools who are great applicants. The academies have to make tough decisions about who will receive appointments.
 
I disagree. You can't make a "reasonable guess" whether one is triple qualified since one of the qualifications is the Admissions Board. One might think they should be qualified by the Admissions Board even with all the stats, but the Admissions Board might think otherwise. I'd agree you can make a reasonable guess about the CFA or even ask a BGO...but that's only two of the Q's.

I agree with bgo, however, at a certain point admissions is going to inform the candidates if they are not 3Q'd. At this writing it is 28 March - if you did not get a TWE and your status still says CPR, it should be safe to assume you are 3Q'd.
 
Anyone know any idea what the likely hood of more appointments being realized? I am still sitting at candidate on portal, but received an appointment to usmma today. Should I just start assuming I'll be heading to usmma ?
