Hey! I am new here just trying to figure out information about AFROTC and their scholarships.
I am currently a junior and I just want to see how my chances stand up and what I need to do to get better.
Grad class of 2020
Stats
SAT: N/A (taking in may)
GPA: looking at a 3.25 ( flunked 9th grade due to mental issues as I had severe depression and anxiety and more; 9th-grade GPA was 2.77 but now I'm getting 3.5 plus)
Broke records in my high school for track a field and was on varsity in 9th grade. Played football too and was captain.
Past PT with flying colors.
1oth and 11th grade I didn't do sports due to injuries.
Mission trips with my church around the area.
Going to become a youth leader hopefully for my church

I know that im very under the average for stats but if any of you guys want to give me tips and just basic information about AFROTC scholarships and such go ahead!

You need to take that SAT and ACT as soon as possible. I believe Feb is the 1st one out for this year. Take them as often as you can afford to do so. AFROTC is best sitting, not superscore.

Get your medical records in order. If you were diagnosed with depression and anxiety you will need to prove you are cleared for DoDMERB

You have 0% chance if you do not apply. AFROTC also gives the bulk of their scholarships to STEM majors aka TECH

So they really want you to go for a STEM/TECH major?
