I did not see Kansas on your list - I don't think there are any mentioned appointments.
 
Does anyone have a scheduled maintenance notice coming up on their portal? It says scheduled for feb 8-9 but it’s obvously way past that. Perhaps just a technical error?

I cannot believe that I left Kansas out of the Union. Sorry about that!
 
Nothing on our portal, just says that it is still pending. Nothing has changed.

Hopefully that means good new to come on your end :)!!!
 
My DS reports that he was able to log onto his CIS (portal) and see the data, without issue.
 
There has not been 1 day in the last 19 years that I have not been proud of my DS, but today has to be at the top of the list.
He called from school (11 hours away) to tell me that he received an e mail from our Congressman with a full offer of Appointment!
It came with a mixture of tears and smiles. As a mom we know how special our kids are, now we get to share them with the world!!!!
From California it does not get much further away, so it is certainly a bitter sweet moment. Seem like it all happened in the blink of an eye. We have taught our kids to be strong and independent, now I guess we have to let go and let them be.

CONGARTS a 100x's over to those with appointments, and want to again point out that this is my DS 2nd time around applying, so please do not give up!!! A year is nothing in the big picture, plus I think it makes them that much stronger!!

GO NAVY!!!!

What’s was your DS plan b for the last year?
 
We live in N. Cal and he applied for several of the UC's in California, got into several and decided to go to UC San Diego. Finishing up his 2nd Quarter right now and worked his butt off to get all A's. It has been a great experience and the fact that he is 11 hours from home I think will make him a little less homesick next year.

Now there's a first post for ya.
 
Okay. In the movie A Christmas Story, our hero (Ralphie) finally gets his Little Orphan Annie Secret Decoder ring in the mail.
The secret code that night (broadcast on the Little Orphan Annie radio show) was "Be sure to drink your Ovaltine".
Ralphie was (understandably) disgusted with the fact that the secret code turned out to be a "lousy commercial".

The Morse code in my signature reads "Be sure to drink your Ovaltine" in deference to this veritable zenith of cinematic greatness.
