With a respectful nod to the dearly departed murfthesurf, a former SAF member who started 2021's thread but has passed away, here's a start to the 2022 Self-Reporting thread. Someone's going to pop up here soon!

HOW TO ADD A NAME: This is self-reporting, self-updating and DIY. Mods don't update the list. Kindly posters occasionally do, I may occasionally do, but the burden falls on posters.
Copy the most recent list, paste into new post, add a number, enter your info in a similar format, post.

FORMAT:
xxnumber)SAF forum name/self, DD, DS/LOA or No LOA/Notified of Appointment Date/Accepted or Declined/Nom sources, including State, MOC or Sen/Other Nominations/via NAPS, Foundation prep, self-prep, college re-applicant, direct appoint

I added a new data field, the last, because prep and re-applicants are perennial topics.

SAMPLE:
xxnumber)Squiddlypop/DD/No LOA/Oct 7, 2017/Accepted/VA-Sen/Presidential Nom/direct appoint

Note: You can always go back to update by copying the most recent list into a new post, updating your entry with data such as a new nom, acceptance or declination, etc.

Congrats! Huge accomplishment! May I ask when DoDMERB was completed?

Thank you again, DoDMERB I finished on July 17th, that's when I finished all my physical and eye examinations, and about a week after that, I got my letter saying that I was qualified.

Suggest add State and District e.g. FL-08, which will become very important in the spring when the list grows long.

While this is certainly relevant when determining how many noms per district may remain, it also provides information that may enable a candidate to be eventually identified. Please consider this before posting MOC and State data.

(Kudos to Capt MJ for pointing this out).

Would it be possible for one of the moderators to pin this on the first page of the USNA forum? I have a feeling this is going to grow exponentially in the coming months and I don't want anyone else to have to dig through 4 pages of "what are my chances" threads to find it... ;)

USNA Class of 2022 Appointments:

1) TechFlier7 / Self / LOA / 18-Sep-2017 / Accepted / CA / Presidential Nomination, Direct Appointment
2) klcm54a / DS / ??? / 13-Nov-2017 / Undecided / AK / Presidential Nomination, Direct Appointment

2) klcm54a / DS / LOA / 13-Nov-2017 / Undecided / AK / Presidential Nomination, Direct Appointment

Didn't understand LOA went there. After completing all required items, it took two weeks for offer of appointment.
