Wonderful News!!!

My DS has just been offered a "Principle Appointment" to the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy! When he went to do his daily academy admissions portal checks he was greeted with this new and wonderful message:

"Congratulations! As of the 20th day of December 2018, an Appointment is extended to you to attend the United States Merchant Marine Academy........I understand that if no response is received by May 1st 2019, this appointment to the United States Merchant Marine Academy will be rescinded. "

This is such fantastic news for our DS and our family! Thank you to everyone, and there's been a lot of you, that have been so generous with your time, knowledge and wisdom in helping to guide my DS in his pursuit of this honor. The world could sure use many more sensational people like you!

Congratulations to your son and family! Please add him to our 2023 Appointment thread and keep us posted as to his final decision, if he hasn't already made it.

Congratulations @Andrew4125! There are several WI families on SAF and if you have any questions or want to speak with someone about USMMA, I'm sure they'd be a great resource for you.
