Class of 2025 =Numbers of applicants downloaded to DoDMERB by Academy as of 28 Aug 2020

Does being sent to dodmerb only happen once? Curious if an applicant is submitted for dodmerb by one academy, does that mean other academies will not submit same candidate?
 
NO.
Academies submit independently from each other when they have an applicant they want a medical certification from DoDMERB on.
DoDMERB is one of the few governmental organizations that actually SAVES money!!!! One stop shopping.

EXAMPLE: Mr or Ms Schmucatelli, applies to Academy X or ROTC program Y and gets their exams. For the next two years after the date of the medical exam, if another Academy or ROTC program "downloads" them to DoDMERB, the same exam is used.:bounce1:
 
My DD is applying to USNA, USMA , USAFA and AFROTC. She received dodmerb questionnaire from usma but not any others. I understand USNA is having issues but am concerned she hasn’t been submitted by USAFA yet. She says her application is way past completed enough to generate a dodmerb. She applied to USAFA first but already has an LOA from USMA and she applied well after. She is in process of scheduling dodmerb exam.
 
I have no doubt if DD...is really a DD...SHE...as the applicant...is either going to email me and I'll reply late tonight when I get home OR she has contacted USAFA Admissions to find out "What's what?" :zip:
 
UPDATE: USNA HAS SENT US 857 NAMES THIS MORNING. 839 WERE ACCEPTED WITHOUT ERROR. 696 ARE NEW APPLICANTS THAT WERE NOT ALREADY IN FOR ANOTHER ACADEMY (MEANING THESE FOLKS WERE ALREADY IN OUR SYSTEM AND COULD START THE PROCESS ANYWAY) ---- I WILL BE OFF THE FORUMS UNTIL LATE TONIGHT :zip:
 
When will the USNA applicants hear something, as to scheduling a medical evaluation?

What happens with those that were downloaded and already took the exam? How do we find out/know if we were part of the ~161 applicants already in for other academies?
 
My DS is applying for USNA and just received his DoDMERB email today! Yay he was one of the 839!! :D
 
my daughter received her DoDMERB email yesterday too!! Very exciting to get to this part! She completed last night with me there for questions! One bit of advice I will give others is have all your medical records ready to refer to for dates, drs names, address etc. It took her a long time to go through all the questions and follow ups but without all her records it would have been much much longer! She is calling today to make her appointments.

The model way to do this. Gather materials, proceed thoughtfully with attention to detail, have a parent as ready reference.

We have learned so much from the forum and the advice from all is so helpful! It took us over a month to get all her medical records bc drs offices are slow these days with covid and employees working from home - so we were so glad to have everything ready to go with dates listed and treatment plans etc. I have no idea how she would have filled this survey out without her records, bc it is hard to remember the details! Thank you all for paving the way, we just want to be able to give back to others also, so if anyone has questions please let me know.
 
Question on this. My son is applying to USNA, USCGA and NROTC. He received 4 DODMERB emails within 20 minutes of each other. What stage generates the DODMERB email? He submitted USCGA and USNA yesterday. NROTC was submitted about 2 weeks ago. Thank you.
