Happy New Year to all! There is a Class of 2026 page in Instagram, it is unofficial but a great fun idea. If you like to check it out

Oooooooo…..fodder for the detailers 😬
Some detailers do look at that stuff. We never referenced any of it to make fun of plebes. (At least not outside the wardroom.) Can’t speak for all companies though. Anyway it’s a good time for these young people to solidify the habit of being smart about what they share publicly on the internet. Never post anything online that you wouldn’t want your grandparents, employer, or detailers to see!

Or security clearance investigators…

I’m sorry. I didn’t think there was anything wrong with that page. Can you please look into it and if you consider that sharing there can bring consequences please let me know Thank you

Ah to give bad advice, its to be human. To anyone reading this who might be tempted to post something on that page or otherwise anywhere else:

Rule #1

DONT BE AN IDIOT

Rule #2

Refer to Rule #1

Ugh agree

I saw that page - Is it something we shouldn't support?

I’m not a social media person, but I don’t see an issue with it as long as they’re judicious about what they share, as most future plebes probably will be. We were just giving a word to the wise.

Personally, I never cared about those pages before my Plebe Summer. There will be plenty of time to get to know classmates in person once they’re all confined to the Yard for most of the next four years.
