Class of 29 contacted by Admissions, LOA?

It's good to see LOAs coming out of USCGA. In the past few years (or at least during my application timeframe), LOAs did not seem plentiful coming out of USCGA. While the USCG's recruiting/retention issues are considerably less than those of the other services, I wouldn't be surprised if there is a push inside Admissions to identify and engage highly sought-after applicants early and often. Plus, with the societal shift to instant/early gratification being a premium, more LOAs make sense. Everyone likes warm and fuzzy feelings, especially during emotionally charged times such as college admissions.
