Previously while browsing these forums, I came across a document that had the order in which each branch ran out of slots and what rank in the class the last person who was able to branch that had. I have been unable to find this again and was wondering if anyone knew where I could find it. Thanks.

Could someone decode this for me? Thank you
I'll try.
  • Each bar corresponds to a branch.
  • The number at the bottom of each bar (yellow) is the class rank of the highest ranking cadet choosing that branch - for example the #1 cadet in the class chose Engineers (EN), the #2 chose Infantry (IN), etc.
  • The number at the top of each bar (red) is the class rank of the lowest ranking cadet choosing that branch. The Goat, #971, chose Field Artillery (FA).
  • A specified percentage, I believe 75%, of each branch is filled by OML (Order of Merit List)
  • The remaining 25% can be selected through BRADSO - essentially a cadet agrees to an extra three years of active duty ( in addition to the required 5 years) and cadet gets their choice of branch. The black number somewhere in the middle of each bar is the class rank of the highest ranking cadet choosing the branch through BRADSO.
  • Any branches unfilled after BRADSO return to OML to be filled.
  • OML is determined by Cadet Performance Rank (CPR) - weighted as follows: 55% Academic/30% Military/15% Physical
Note that this graph does not indicate the number of cadets choosing each branch.
