Who at KP is the liaison with the company contracted to provide the 2015 class rings? (My understanding is various ring companies are contracted for several years by KP)

The U.S. Merchant Marine Academy Class Ring is one of the most important symbols in perpetuating Academy tradition. The ring not only symbolizes the bond classmates share amongst themselves, but also the long standing history and traditions of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy. If your ring is lost and you wish to have it replaced, please contact the following companies for assistance.

Wow, this is some great information.

I called Jostens once. Just for fun, they looked up my ring, and compared the price then to the price now, with all the same stones and gold...... I think it was $1,500-$3,000 difference (so I hope to not lose mine).

I'll add that not only is your ring a bond between you and your classmates (you all have the same crest), between you and your fellow USMMA alumni (all of the same crest on the other side)..... it's also a bond between you and other service academy graduates.

The rings stand out, and you'll experience more than once in your life, someone asking "what academy is that" followed by showing their own and having a good long coversation about it.

Liaison

So its the AAF that could help resolve any difficulties with the ring supplier?

ring company messed up big time

 Fortunately Jostens realized they messed up and sent emails to everyone who had already paid saying in an email that they had not paid ... considering the A splits are at sea now and might now have access to their receipts from the fall, it was a stressful few days before Jostens realized they screwed up. DH was on the phone multiple times with them before they finally understood what was going on. Hopefully they now have the correct info with the fall orders now!?
