If I were to pick a philosophy class (logic and critical reasoning) instead of an English class (Critical Thinking and writing) for the spring semester, would that reflect poorly on my application to USAFA? I'm only considering doing this because I took a very similar English class in high school, got an A, passed the AP test, but my college won't let me get credit for it. I'd essentially be repeating the class, which would be boring for me. Thoughts?

Did you take anything english related in the fall semester? I took an English class first semester but they recommended two semesters so I might need to take another one. My personal opinion is that these are just recommendations and if you can do very well in a class that involves writing you will be fine. If anyone has more accurate information please share:)

Assuming you are in college... what do first year students at AFA take in the Spring Semester? Have you already taken a writing intensive class? If an AFA first year takes just one semester of English and you have taken one semester of English, then you should be good.
