Clearances???

Do you need a top secret clearance to be a pilot? If so do you undergo polygraph testing.

The reason I ask is because my buddy was telling me they ask you embarrasing questions, like about your sexual history and alike. Not that I have anything to hide but that seems pretty invasive, is it just a rumor?

Pilots do not need a TS. All officers require at least a Secret level clearance. There is no polygraph involved. The rumor mill will always spin on.
