After serving in the Coast Guard, do they receive the same benefits from the VA as those from other branches?
Also, are hospitals belonging to the Navy and other branches open to Coast Guard members?

Yes. The Coast Guard is one of the nation’s seven uniformed services and one of the five armed services (meaning they fall under the UCMJ). Thus Coast Guard veterans receive full benefits.

I found many posts on the other webpage that say it's not, so I was very confused.
