I received my grades today from Washington State University. I took calculus, chemistry, a mechanical engineering class, and the 100 level AFROTC classes. I received an A in all classes but chemistry where I earned a B. I also enrolled in a free Arabic class through the university, but there is no credit or grade awarded for this class. I was not able to enroll in a history or English class. How do you think these grades will affect my application? I know these kind of questions don't have definitive answers, but would love to hear your opinions.

I believe that the admissions folks at USAFA look favorably upon college coursework taken outside of high school, especially science and math subjects. As and Bs prove that you can succeed in college-level classes. Make sure they have a complete course description from WSU's registrar. The Chem, Eng, and Calc courses were all 4-credits, correct?

One semester at USAFA, my Physics major had four lab sciences plus three other courses, plus the physical ed courses. I think he had 26 credits that term, so the more work you can prove you can do, the better.
