Hello everyone!
I am going into college and planning to reapply to USAFA. Do I need to redo my CFA and DODMerb exams, or does anyone know the protocol? Thanks!

If you were found to be medically qualified by DODMerb then it has a validity of 2 years from the date of that determination (unless something has changed with regard to your medical condition). But the CFA needs to be retaken if you are a reapplicant.

Does this mean cadets have to retake a DoDMERB halfway through their appointment at an Academy?

DoDMERB only applies to those applying for an appointment.

Once appointed and matriculated, you are active duty military and subject to fitness and health standards as a member of the military . Your health insurance is also covered by Tricare (military health plan) as an Academy cadet or midshipman.
