Are there any college reapplicants that have not heard anything back yet? As I see all of these BFE's going out to reapplicants, I am beginning to think that I'm the only one that hasn't heard back.

I should qualify that- about 3.5 weeks ago there was clarification request- since then- nothing

3rd time applicant here - nothing yet.. One of my friends who is a 2nd time received his usna appointment about 2 weeks ago.

Here in the midwest, my DS hasn't heard a word other than a telephone call from admissions needing clarification on a letter of recommendation.

I'm a re applicant and I've heard nothing. Don't worry about it. You'll know for sure next month.

It usually takes a little longer for college reapplicants as they take the time to see how you handled the college workload your first semester. Most college reapplicants I've met at USNA got their appointments around this time to late April.

No news.

Normally the saying is "No news is good news". Wonder if that applies to this?

I think it does. Every day when my son gets home from school I ask - do you want the good news or bad news first? Good news - no twe. Bad news - no bfe

I haven't heard a word either. I knew it would take longer to hear back because of them needing my first semester grades but the waiting game is the worst. Though in the end it's worth it. Just glad that I'm not the only one.

It's great to know that there are others out there. Two years and still going strong! Keep up the hard work and never give up!

Nothing here either. Confident in meeting the needs of the Navy, with a spot to fill in 2019 or re-upping for sophomore year at a Plan B I love (and was never going to need :)). We are all NavyStrong!

If you're in college and get accepted, does the academy expect you to have no debt (student loans) when you report to I-day?

Ditto... DS has heard nothing. No matter what the news will be he is still 50 / 50. He just got home today and he speaks highly of all the Mids and Marine options in his unit. Living in a competitive area does not help matters.

My DS attended NASS for his Jr. year. Received the NROTC scholarship, was invited to CVW but could not attend because of NSO with NROTC. He made the engineering deans list. Received a nomination without even getting an interview (confused on that one) but nothing yet. I really wish they asked for the 2nd semester grades as well, all "A's".

Anybody else on the NROTC scholarship and did you get a CVW offer?

Good luck to all, it will happen soon!

DS got NROTC offer in Feb. He is reapplicant and got CVW invite last year as a senior.

We still haven't heard anything either but expect to get an official notification soon, especially since DS decided last week that he was going to call his Admissions Counselor and ask to have his application removed from consideration. He is attending a sr. military college and is thriving. He also just got accepted to PLC (Marine Corps Platoon Leadership Class), which is the first step to OCS. As a matter of fact, he's taking his ASTB flight selection test today so if he passes that's one step closer to realizing his dream. :tomcat::usa:
