Hey everyone, I’m a reapplicant for 2026. If I was unable to recieve a physics/chemistry SOE in high school, would I be able to receive one in college? Or does it have to be from my high school? I don’t know the logistics since I’m a reapplicant, meaning I had an open file in HS but wasn’t able to get that SOE in due to some logistical problems. Thank you!

I think you will still have to reach out to your HS chemistry/physics teacher and ask for one. Read the applicant handbook, and email your FFR to be sure.

yeah, [former] college reapplicant also here. Applied for the class of 2024, did not get a congressional nomination, and then reapplied for the class of 2025. Received an LOA in October-ish and then an appointment in March after my medical stuff was approved and nomination went through with my senator.
***You're going to have to get 3 high school ones at minimum (Chem/Physics, English, and Math). You're also going to have to get 2 additional SOE's from college professors (pick 2 from either your chem/physics prof, english prof, or math prof). Also, don't forget you're PE SOE too.
In total, as a college applicant, you're going to need 6 total SOE's.

p.s. it's also written in the applicant handbook, or you can verify with your RC.
Thanks and good luck.
