Combat Dive School question.

I have a very ambitious friend who’s ultimate goal is to go into combat dive school for the Army. He is an Ms2 and his pt score is around 315. From what I have heard, Combat dive school is probably the most competitive school to get into for the Army via Rotc and my friend says that combat dive school does not care about gpa but only pt score. I thought combat dive school cares about both gpa and pt score, hence why it is so hard to get into. His gpa isn’t the best but his pt and ambition is strong. Does combat dive school factor gpa in there?
