DS just let me know he submitted his choice today to go SWO. He started out wanting to be a pilot, loved his sub cruise but his first class cruise finalized his thoughts. He said I was right about being on steel beach at night in the middle of the big pond. He said he stayed out there for a few hours with a cigar looking up at the many stars he has never seen before. He is now thinking about his dream sheet, not so sure when that gets submitted.

Looking forward to the commissioning this May. I get to render that first salute.
