My status on DoDMETS changed to "Complete & on hold"

What does this mean? How long will it stay here?

It's not asking for any action from me, just from the providers.

Usually it has something to do with the providers forgetting to fill in a question or send a form. Mine was on hold for a week or two before it said my file was “complete”.

.... so I'm still under the same status

Is it a good idea for me to call the office to see what's wrong?

This happened to our son early on, he contacted DODMET and they resolved it within 3 days, it was a clerical error on Dr.'s side.

No, not for a National scholarship.
Yes, if you are campus based and the Army Professor of Military Science or AFROTC or NROTC Commander personally authorizes it

So, my status is "complete", what next? How long till I find out that I passed or need a waiver?
Complete just means that DODMETS have received your examinations. They have to review and then forward to DODMERB. There is an explanation of what all the different Status means on the DODMETS FAQ.

Once a file is complete at CivTeam, that means the received your exam results for medical, optometric, and in some cases, separate audiometric.

It then undergoes 2 Quality Control checks, before being dispatched to DoDMERB, electronically. If there are missing items from the providers, CivTeam place the file on Complete Hold while they retrieve the necessary items from the providers. In rare instances, there is something they require from the applicant, again, the status assigned is Complete hold, until they obtain the needed information.

Upon completion, CivTeam closes the case and transfers to DoDMERB.

Read the document I wrote on Christmas Day, 2019.
