i have just completed my application for EA and i am wondering if and when the academy will contact me telling me what to do next. does anyone know? thanks.

Congrats on completing your EA application! Assuming you have all of your supplemental forms and DODMERB completed, it is time to sit back and wait (not easy, I know). I think I remember getting sent a letter saying that my full application had been received and that it was under review so maybe look for that. And just so you know, they say you will find out December 15. Give them a little leeway...I was freaking out when I didn't get a letter by then but I received my full appointment December 23  My best advice: enjoy your senior year!

Actually, the date on the website and on most all of the literature about EA states if you complete your application by November 1, you will receive an admissions decision no later than December 24.

Oh sorry, guess they changed it. I know in the letter I got last year, it said December 15. Anyway, good luck logcabin!

Can you please tell me if you have to send a copy of your DODMERB saying that you have completed this and passed or can they check this online?

You do not need to send anything, they will have access to your medical status.

If your medical status is unknown or incomplete, they will issue a conditional appointment pending your DODMERB qualification.

You should receive a letter in the mail from DoDMERB that will state that you have been medically qualified by each specific SA or ROTC program that you applied to.
These letters may show up as individual notifications for each SA. (one of my candidates received a letter in late Sept clearing him for USNA and just received a second letter that had added USCGA to the list).

Tell your parents not to worry about stalking the Mail carrier until December! :shake:
