As stated in the title. Currently a college senior. I graduated Marine PLC-Combined this passed summer and was supposed to graduate and commission in May. I failed two classes and am no longer able to graduate and thus commission? I am about to contact my OSO to inform him but would like to know my options or what's going to happen before I call? Would I have to graduate and then reapply? I know there is a certain time frame I must graduate after completing OCS in order to be able to accept my commission but I don't know what that is.

Does anyone have any insight?

I have no insight except to get with your OSO. Go armed with the info as to when you will retake the courses and when your new graduation date will be. Be ready to accept responsibility. Good luck.

No specific knowledge but... you HAVE to graduate to commission. Report date to TBS is often six months out so... you could possibly take the courses in a summer session or another university and then graduate/commission and get in schedule for TBS. That seems possible in my view of the situation.

Good luck

Colleges also seem to be getting creative. My oldest was informed of a ‘winter session’ offering, during this break (that has already started, but not the session yet). This is new for this school. Maybe contact your school also ASAP to see if there is an offering, that you can retake here quick? Or as already mentioned, somewhere else online and transfer in?

Regardless of the outcome of the discussion with your OSO, you are going to want to complete that degree and graduate as soon as possible.

Good luck!
