On the web site it says that 1 year in computer science is required and 1 year of programing is suggested. My highschool offers neither of these. I am currently in PC Management/ Maint. Is is important that I schedual to take Computer Science or Programing on line or at my local college during the summer?

No. I didn't go in with any comp sci experience. Shouldn't be necessary to have on the transcript.

Along those lines how important are math classes versus lets say, english or history. To put it in context I am taking Honors Geometry, and Statistics (senior level class, not necessarily hard though). So I have two years of math this year, but I only have standard level history and english. Ill probably end up with a 3.6ish unweighted GPA. Is that what I should be going for, or should I be doing more honors/AP classes? Or should I be pushing to get Programming if at all possible?

Thanks for all the help!

Don't worry about having programming experience. The language used by the core class is exclusive to the Academy. I'd say it's more important to have a good math, reading, and writing ability. Also, it is possible to validate the class without programming knowledge; there were only 18 of us who validated from 2014 though.
