I am tying to figure out my total CFA score. I know that it needs to be somewhere around 200 or above and I have heard some people mention total scores but I can't seem to find any chart or other info on how to assign point values to my individuals event totals. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think you have the CFA and another Air Force fitness test confused.

The CFA is the Candidate Fitness Assessment that the academy uses to determine a candidate's level of physical fitness. It is what you take and submit when applying to the academy. There isn't a chart or minimum scores sheet available, so you must simply submit the best scores you've got. The CFA consists of the basketball throw, pushups, shuttle run, pullups, situps, and a one mile run.

The PFT on the other hand, is a test they administer that consists of pullups, a long jump, situps, pushups, and a 600 yard run. The passing score for that test is 250 points out of the possible 500. (Note: There are multiple PFT's and some consist of different events like a 1.5 mile run for example. This is simply the PFT I've come to know and love.)

I'm assuming you are referring to the CFA. You won't be able to find a score sheet anywhere for that I'm afraid.

Or he may be confusing the USCGA's PFE test with the CFA.

The PFE scoring table is published with the instructions. A score of 130 is necessary for appointment, 165 or below will get you disenrolled anytime after Swab Summer, and a 200 is the minimum for graduation/commission.
