Hello everyone,
As a graduate from almost 32 years ago, and as a local resident in New York, I have become much more involved with the actual midshipmen that are attending the academy in recent years. Consequently, I have many concerns about the direction my beloved alma mater seems to be headed in.
I tend to take a personal approach to helping the midshipmen directly one-to-one. The problems are "Legion" (paraphrasing a Biblical reference of the demon-possessed man Jesus faced once who asked the demon his name only to hear back: "My name is Legion, for we are many.").
My latest cause has to do with the demise of the MOAT program, and the plight of the current class of 2012 as they face tremendous uncertainty about the ability to even sit for their "QMED's" after being part of the program for three years.
More to follow.
