Hello! I received this email yesterday, and I am hoping to find out some information if possible on what I need to do. It says:

"We are pleased to advise you that the Admissions Board has recommended you for admission to the United States Naval Academy with the Class of 2023. You are guaranteed an offer of appointment if your remaining admissions requirements are satisfactorily met. You should be proud of your outstanding accomplishments as you have earned an opportunity to join one of the country's premier officer training programs. As the undergraduate college of the Navy and Marine Corps, the Naval Academy will prepare you to become a leader in the Naval Service and provide an experience unmatched by any other college or university.

Please remember that your guaranteed offer of appointment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of all the remaining requirements for admission. To view the status of your application file and a list of your remaining Required Actions, please log into the Candidate Information System by clicking on the link below or copying and pasting the entire link into your web browser address bar.

Aside from any Medical required actions, you must complete the marked requirements by February 21 of 2019, or your offer of appointment may no longer be valid."

I checked my candidate information system, which is where the link was to, and I couldn't find anything different aside from my status at the top. I was hoping somebody with the same info or better insight could possibly help me find what exactly the "marked requirements" are? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Go Navy!

If anything is listed other than "None" next to "Required Actions", you need to do what it says to do, post haste.
If anything is listed other than "None" next to "Special Instructions", you need to do what it says to do, post haste.

If there is "None" next to "Required Actions" and "None" next to "Special Instructions", you will receive a fully-Qualified Offer of Appointment soon.

First Congrats! Second if you have any questions contact you BGO or Admissions counselor at USNA.

Yeah, with an LOA is at stake I would call admissions and make sure I'm properly understanding what I see the the status.

Does it say Required actions none?
no special instructions, only required action is my medical qualification which I'm working on with dodmerb right now. But the email says aside from medical qualifications, so does this mean I don't have to do anything else?

thank you! I'll be sure to do that

Sounds like your LOA is contingent on clearing your medical issue. It said that everyone else needs to be in by Feb, which may be boilerplate language. If you don't have anything other than medical, then there's nothing to do but pursue your medical issue. If it clears, you're good.

Does it say Required actions none?

Our DD got her "Accept Offer" status Link in her USNA page at 3:30ish today (when the Email came in) …. We all watched and Clapped and Cried when she finished the Accept Offer sequence.

Now … We see that there is a LOT of documentation that will have to be submitted … but, OH, what a relief it is …. Can't stop smiling … We so proud of her.

:))
