Hi all,

I was lucky enough to receive an LOA earlier this week, but I can't find any info about it in my portal. According to the email I got from admissions, there should be more information about the LOA in my portal, but when I click on 'review' next to my LOA offer, it just shows me my application. I know the basic requirements for an LOA, but I just wanted to know if there's anything I might be missing. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

You should contact Admissions on Monday using the widget chat tool on the Admissions website. They are the best source for this. There continues to be software problems.

When I received my LOA I was also confused about this, but the outstanding requirements seem to just be the missing items from your checklist. I would contact admissions to confirm, but that is what it was for me.You should also receive a physical letter in the mail in a week or two that states all the requirements.

Thank y'all! I would try the live chat, but I'm overseas and the only time they're on is at 3 AM, so hopefully the letter in the mail does come soon. I've already emailed my admissions counselor too though, so that's probably my best hope. Thanks again!

I had the same thing occur when I received an LOA earlier this application cycle. The review button is simply just to review your application details, and as the above mentioned the only items that are still outstanding will show on your checklist. Expect that physical copy in the mail soon and get anything else you might need in soon as well. Congratulations!

Thanks! The only thing missing on my checklist is my DoDMERB, but they already told me that they’re processing a waiver for me so I assume that’s the only thing I really have left since I do have a nom. Thanks again!!

Go into your application, on the top left you can see a my progress button. Once clicked you will be able to see what doesn't have a check mark. The items marked with an x are what are required to be completed.

Of course, I needed a waiver as well which was fortunately granted, and the appointment showed up in the portal just a couple days later. So once it gets granted hopefully you shouldn’t be in for too long of a wait since that’s the only thing.

Thanks! I'm hoping they'll grant me one since USAFA already gave me one, but obviously they have different standards and don't coordinate so there's definitely a chance I don't get one, but we'll just have to wait and see. Congrats to you though!

I just received my Conditional Offer (LOA). However, I have all my items checked, I don't think I am missing anything. I will try to give admissions a call asap. Any suggestions?

Give it a few weeks. More than likely when the LOA was issued not everything was ‘green’. Sometimes it takes a bit for everything to catch up.

IF you need to contact Admissions...it may be difficult by phone. If phone doesnt work use the Widget Chat tool on the Admissions webpage.

My DD received an LOA, then a letter last week stating she is “guaranteed an appointment” once her checklist is complete, which it has been for almost a month. Now her portal has “Accept” and “Decline” buttons where the LOA was posted. Question: Is this an offer of appointment? Or still LOA/ guarantee?

Congrats. Full offer. LOA has been fulfilled

I agree with cluelesscandidateparents. When my DS got an offer it showed the Accept/Decline buttons in his portal.

Will candidates receive a hard copy of the offer of appointment in addition to portal "accept/decline" offer? DS's portal has the offer but have not received a letter yet.
