Confused??

Hey! Okay, so since December 15th, my file for USMA has been complete. I even made sure by asking the admissions office. Aren't you supposed to get something in the mail saything that your file is complete and whether you are qualified or not? When would be a probable time that I got a letter telling me whether or not I've been accepted? Thanks, I hate this waiting a lot.

USMA, you do not say if you have your nomination? Do you have a letter of assurance (LOA)? That would probably be the next item to come if everything is to their satisfaction. Having a complete file does not guarantee anything. What are your grades? There are a number of factors that are taken into consideration before getting an LOA or Appointment. Good Luck

I did received a nomination from my congressman, but not an LOA. My grades are 6 A's, one B-, and a weighted GPA of 4.5. Thanks for your reply.

Has the nomination posted on the portal yet?

I qualified for a presidential nom and recieved an informal notice that I was getting the congressional nom too (which still hasnt posted on the portal). I got appointed with just the presidential.

Your grades look good. I'm assuming you passed the CFA. The only other factors are your extra curriculars and SAT scores. If you have good scores (not hard with that GPA im sure) and plenty of activities and leadership positions then I'd say that your appointment letter is on the way. My file was complete in early January and I got the appointment on Jan 2.

I know it sucks but you just have to be patient!
