Congratulations Swim Team!

I imagine a Swim Parent will be along soon but I want to start the thread congratulating the team. Last weekend the Mens team won the Landmark Conference Meet. The Women's team swam a commendable third. During that meet an Academy record, pool record, meet record and a conference record was set! Also NCAA B cut times were achieved! This weekend more records fell and more NCAA cut times were swam! This team is really good and deserves some recognition!
Hopefully someone will come along with a results page and be more specific. You can go to USMMA swimming and there should be links available to see the actual results and times.

Still haven't seen results from the Metropolitan Championships or a listing that says if or who made NCAA DIII cut times but this year's Swim Team has indeed had a great season so far - nice post Lynpar!

I believe the NCAA cut time swum today was done for the 400 Medly Relay during a time trial and they made the NCAA cut..........not the "B" cut but the NCAA cut time!

Someone may want to come along and verify this. My intel is not as good on all things swimming as it used to be.

Men's 400 medley makes NCAA "B" Cut in a time trial by .7. It was awesome. Rebroke our school record by almost 1 second. Splits: 50.3, 59.4, 49.6, 45.7.
Freshman Kevin Lindgren destroys conference record and makes a NCAA A cut in 200 back and NCAA "B" cut in 100 back. Senior Frank Vita got an NCAA A cut in 200 fly and a NCAA "B" cut in 100 Fly. Lot of academy records and meet records were broken.

I was at the Met's championship's this weekend at Rutgers. Both the men's and women's swim team set multiple team and individual records. Some pictures and videos are on the USMMA swim team facebook page. Way to go Mariners!
